The Julie Miller Investment Art Institute is an art investment and management institution focused on developing the African art market for the benefit of all stakeholders.
What is investment art?
Investment art is art that typically possesses three properties: (1) superior quality, (2) rarity, and (3) scarcity.
Sought by collectors, investors, and dealers, investment art enjoys national and international demand. As such, its value has a high probability of significant growth over time.
What should you invest in?
Skill, aesthetic appeal, quality materials, framing and conservation techniques.
Art that is unique in conception, with good composition, well executed, and representative of an artist’s highest quality.
Art which appeals to you.
High calibre, well listed artists and/or, depending on your budget, budding artists at the beginning of their careers who are showing promise.
What part do we play?
Every piece in our gallery has been examined and evaluated to ensure that it meets the value proposition.
Through collaboration with other galleries and organisations locally and abroad, we create opportunities for the artists we work with to exhibit and become better-known. This helps to increase value in the art works which you own.
Via our NPO, Friends of Talent, we recognise and nurture talented up-and-coming artists, and help to bring their best artworks to the attention of you, the investor.
Whether you are an experienced art investor, or a new entrant to the art world considering your first small foray into the market, our team is here to serve you.
